FOR OPERATORS
Last updated 30 October 2026
You pay a monthly subscription for your plan. On top of that there’s a transaction fee on bookings. In most cases the guest pays it, so you’re settled the price you set. Funds are available from the day after the guest pays, and you withdraw them whenever you like.
Your actual rates are recorded in your Order Form. This page explains how the model works.
1. What you pay
Subscription fee. A fixed monthly amount for your plan, always paid in advance. At launch, your first two months are free and the remaining four months of your six-month term are paid during month two. It covers platform access, your floor plan, the door tools, the reporting module and support. Overdue amounts can be deducted from your settlement.
Platform transaction fee. A percentage of the gross booking value on each completed booking. This is our revenue on bookings.
Payment provider and payout transfer fees. Passed through at cost. We do not mark these up.
2. Who bears the transaction fee
This is the part operators ask about most.
In most cases, the guest pays it. It is added at checkout, itemised, and shown to the guest before they confirm. You are settled the price you set for the table, package or ticket.
On Event Pro plans it is shared between you and the guest, in the proportion recorded in your Order Form.
Sometimes we absorb it. During a launch promotion or campaign, we may carry the fee ourselves so neither you nor the guest pays it.
Whichever applies to you is written into your Order Form, and we tell you before it changes.
3. Completed bookings
The transaction fee is earned on a completed booking: one that wasn’t cancelled inside your cancellation window, whether or not the guest turned up.
If a guest no-shows, the booking still counts. If a guest cancels properly inside the window and is refunded in full, the transaction fee is refunded with it.
4. When you get paid
Funds from a paid booking become available to withdraw from the day after the guest pays. Your admin portal shows every booking, what the guest paid and the amount available to you.
You can request a payout at any time from your admin portal. It is sent to the bank or mobile money account registered in your own business name; allow three to five business days for Paystack to complete the transfer. New settlement accounts are verified first, and we may hold payouts for up to 72 hours after a change to confirm it is genuine.
Everything settles in Ghana Cedi, to an account held in your own registered name. We don’t settle to third parties.
5. What comes off before you’re paid
From the gross booking value we deduct:
•
the platform transaction fee
•
payment provider fees and any payout transfer fee, at cost
•
refunds and chargebacks in the period
•
any overdue subscription fee or other amount due
Where the guest bore the transaction fee, that deduction simply returns you the price you set.
6. Refunds and chargebacks
You carry the cost of refunds arising from your own cancellation, closure, or failure to deliver what was promised, including the platform transaction fee on those bookings.
If a guest raises a chargeback, we’ll ask you for evidence, which you must provide within two business days or sooner if the dispute requires it. We may respond to or manage the dispute at our discretion. Chargeback costs attributable to you are deducted from settlement, or invoiced where settlement is short.
Where your refund or chargeback rate runs well above the platform average, we may withhold settlement or suspend your account while we investigate, and we’ll tell you why. We can do the same if a required refund isn’t made in time. We do not hold a rolling reserve against your money.
7. Statements
A settlement statement sits in your admin panel for every period, showing each booking, its status, the fees applied and the amount settled.
Raise queries within 30 days. Statements unqueried after 90 days are treated as accepted, unless there’s an obvious error or fraud.
8. Tax
All fees are exclusive of VAT, NHIL and the GETFund Levy, which are added where chargeable.
You are the seller of every booking, and you are responsible for all tax on your supplies to guests. Every price you list must include all applicable taxes and levies, and you must not add tax at the venue. We collect payments as your limited payment collection agent and don’t calculate or remit tax for you. Booking confirmations and receipts are not tax invoices, so you issue any invoice the law requires, including E-VAT invoices.
9. Changing fees
We can change the subscription or transaction fee on 60 days’ written notice, effective no earlier than your next renewal term. If the increase is more than 15%, you can end the agreement at the end of your current term by telling us within 30 days of our notice.
